They are settling in well now, and no longer very spooky..they are also doing a yeoman's job of ridding my tank of small snails!(I will eventually have to start putting in some large snails just to keep the population to my liking...I like some for algae control!)

I do too. Could you tell me how large they grow and if they would be compatible with larger darters... like say a logperch?

They supposedly get to be about six inches. I have some about two inches being kept with logperches without a problem.I do too. Could you tell me how large they grow and if they would be compatible with larger darters... like say a logperch?
