Went down to Fox today with an underwater digi my wife bought for me as a coming home present. Found some camurum that were interested in getting a glamour shot.

Rhut Rho Raggy! Competition! ;)

What did she get you Jeffro? One of the Camedias? Or did you go the housing route?

A magician never reveals his secrets. But I will tell you this Mr. Crail, I broke the godd*mn thing today. A waterproof camera that leaks. No housing - a Pentax. Saw some lit up Tippecanoes and Bluebreast. Bunch of other schtuff. including a crazy looking 1/2 inch (or less) grass pickerel. He was like a sewing needle.

It was my last day in Columbus so I had to stop off at Fox. You were right, pretty chewed up near the bridge. The gravel bars down there are massive, reminds me of the lower Scioto which is just completely blown out.

Man! You must have had really excellent water clarity. It's often very turbid, especially this time of year. Did it look exceptionally clear to you from above the water? Nice shots! No tippies photoed?

Oh man that sucks! Is it recoverable? We can put it in a hood at school and really dry it out before you reseal the case.

Didja go around the corner? There was some REALLY nice morphology setting up down there where all the snags used to be when I was there last. It's gonna take awhile to move all that material out from the bridge though, I think. At least it's not a homogenous sand run any more :)

I hope you stopped at Mackey Ford on the way back ;)

Man... Glad to have you coming back to the Glass Chitty.

No, no tippies. The camera leaked after just 5 minutes of use in 6 inches of water. Completely locked up. Flow is super low here in the Buckeye state, Darbyville gage was at 160. So conditions were optimal and ya the water look pretty durn good.

I dont know, I'm letting it dry out here. Either way, I'm rather T.O'd. First the buttons stuck, then it leaked. Let that be a lesson to anyone considering buying a Pentax waterproof camera. I'm taking it back where she got it in Sylvania tomorrow.

I didn't go around the corner, just seined that "kinda" riffle before the corner. I was really hoping to chase down some streamline chubs down in those runs by myself, but quickly came to the conclusion that wasnt going to be happenning with just 1 person. Wish I could have stopped at Mackey Ford, I already hit it once this year. Lots of slenderheads when I was there.

Yes, we will once again raise hell in T-town ;)
