hi all,
Im wondering if anyone has information about fishes in conn...i am new to keeping native fish so i dont really know what we have around here.....i am mostly interested in smaller fish such as minnows or killies
i am not new to keeping fish though....i have a 30 gallon planted tank (jungle actually ) and a 10 gallon that is lightly planted....
thank you very much....any information would be appreciated

Click the "Location" tab, and check the "Connecticut" box. Type "fish" in the "Search by Group" box. You will get a list of fishes in Connecticut.

There is a good Massachusetts book covering freshwater fishes, authored by Karsten Hartel and others. It's published by Mass. Audubon. I don't know if any Conn. state agency has put together any material on freshwater fish, always a possibility.
