Well Ohioans, Todd Crail has stepped down from his position as regional rep. I have stepped up to take his place. I hope that I am able to serve all as well as Todd has. I would like to start thinking about some trips within the state, and also a good deal of interest has surfaced about a Kentucky trip as well. I am also thinking that We may team up occasionally with Uland (teleost) and do an Indiana trip or two. Being new to this position, I would greatly love some input, and ideas about trips. I am very familiar with southern Ohio waters, up to around Columbus, but north of that, I am lacking. Hopefully Brian, Nate, Todd and others will be able to help with Ideas in northerly areas. On southern Ohio trips I am usually able to provide low cost, or free overnight accomodations.
So to all, please, lets get in contact, lets get together, lets find some fish.
Matt

What's the deal with French Creek? Longnose Dace? Longhead Darter?
Tons of spotted darters is what I understand. Protected, but would be neat to see.

Some say it's the most biologically diverse stream in Pennsylvania. I have no idea whether that's true. And I have yet to get there. And I'm hoping to arrange a GLA trip there in the coming months, if there is interest. What's the deal with French Creek?
