I'm wondering if I need to quaranteen and medicate my wild-caught fish before placing them in the main tank. You know, kill off whatever parasites they might be bringing in. Is this a concern?

I noticed that a Warmouth I brought back home had a red worm that you could see hanging out of its anus. For something like that, rather than treat the tank or treat him in a smaller quarantine setup, I just injected some medication into a night crawler and fed it too him. Worked real well.
