Anyone know what these are? They're everywhere in this creek near me. Some people thought they were Rusty crayfish, but many of them are very small (<1") so I was hoping someone could tell me for sure.

Absolutely no way to tell with that picture. A picture looking from the top towards the carapace (mid section) and rostrum (head), a picture looking at the head from the side, and a picture looking underneath at the gonopods (reproductive parts)would be needed. A male would be best.

from the claws, it looks like a juvinile american signal crayfish.
