Is it Okay to treat native fish with medicine from a lfs? One of my Bass apparently has fin rot and since the treatment is usually meant for tropical fish I was wondering if this would harm my natives.

Fish medications will work as well on NA natives as on exotics, as a rule.

Check to see if you have a true fungus, or if it is columnaris (a fungus-looking bacteria). If it is columnaris, the only thing I've ever used that licked it was Maracyn Plus (it's a liquid, not the tablets). You will need to act fast, though, as it progresses quickly.
