Im currently working on my Ohio lifelist and am interested in catching (any method) Silver Chub. Does anyone have tips for doing so in southern Ohio? If it helps Ill also be making a trip in May to central Missouri where this species is more abundant. I would be sampling solo with a seine, rod, and 1/4 inch mesh cast net.

This fish is a deeper water lake species or river pool species in the day but comes shallower at night. Hope this helps.
