I just checked my minnow trap and I got a chub with red fins. Only the dorsal and caudal fins were red. The others were yellow. I can't get any good pics because they're in a holding container with creek water. Could it be a creek chubs? I caught like 14 of those last week in my fish trap.

Sounds like bluehead chubs. The ones west of us tend to have reddish fins.

No stripe. It has a kind of underslung mouth. It's about 2 1/2" - 3". Someone suggested blacknose dace?

I assume this was around Atlanta? If so, it wasn't stoneroller or blacknose dace. I'm sticking with bluehead chub. Can you get a pic?

I might be able to Saturday. I can't really get a clear pic in the holding tank it's in right now. I live about 40-50 miles southeast of Atlanta.
