Anyone keeping up with the pleco problem here in Texas? I'm interested but haven't been able to find much info. about it.

Hopefully, we will soon have some folks on to answer your questions here. Jan Hoover and others have looked into these guys pretty thoroughly. There are apparently several spp. dominated by the genus Pterygoplichthys.

well in florida(south) reg. sailfins are a big problem I saw a few in a drain rrunoff place thingy

why not catch them, and sell them to fishstores in other places, or start a mini "save the waterways" auction featuring invasive species... just dont like the idea of them being killed, its not their fault
