Hi,
new to this forum. Great stuff here.

Thought I'd post some pics of my tank. Not the best quality photography... but anyway here goes:

It's not dying yet.

I've only had it in there for about four weeks. It's directly under four 40 watt flourescent tubes, so I'm hoping it will live.
The roots seem to be growing, so I guess that's good.

Hmm, four weeks is long enough for it to take over the entire surface. At least it's easier to get rid of than duckweed!

Great tank. I have creek chubs as well as 2 shiners that look exactly like your unIDed one. Don't know what they are, what have your guesses been so far?

When I was working out in the CA Delta I was amazed at how nasty, invasive, obtrusive and steadfast the hyacinth was. Mostly all of the irrigation ditches, and backwater sloughs were choked with this stuff. Was a pretty color when it bloomed though (like loostrife :twisted:
