Just wanted to share a few FIsh Pictures from a recent outing to Stone Mountain a couple of weeks ago.  We were apparently a little bit early to see all the color of the yellowfin shiners that we have seen before at this location a few years back, but the fish were plentiful in numbers.  Not much in the way of a species count as I think we only saw maybe four different species.  But the day was beautiful and the mountain laurels and fringe trees were blooming.

This guy was on fire and just about as big as the photo tank would hold.

The river architect was there, but was just beginning to get some small tubercules and had not started any construction projects that we could find quite yet this spring.

And the yellow fins were just beginning to get a little color.  You can see my Gallery Archive for even more variety of yellowfins.  They seemed to vary a lot (white, yellow, orange, red fin coloration).

I need to get back out there next month and see if the fireworks in the stream will have started.
