Looks like I'm getting an extra vacation September 15 - 22nd at Powhatan Plantation. Any locals able to get together for some collecting that week? Any suggested sites within an hr or so? Brackish, swamp whatever.

I am a little over an hour south of there, but there is some good collecting areas around here. Plus the small creek that I have on my property. Mostly swamp type collecting and it is also in NC not VA if that makes much of a difference for you.

I live about 45 minutes away in Carrollton, VA, and would be happy to join you if you want company. Since I haven't gotten to investigate much since we moved here, I'm not sure yet where is good to go, but we can certainly plan a trip.

I'm n a family vacation so am obligated to spend some time with them. But I'm an early riser so a quick morning trip is always a possibility and a couple three longer trips may be ok. I know of a spot about an hr for Roanoke darters I'd like to explore more.
