I just set up a locals tank and collected from my favorite local stream in SE CT. I have ID'd all but the fish below. I got a tenative ID of Bigeye Chub (Hybopsis amblops) from the below:
The only problem is that the book states that a small population was in the Hudson River drainage basin and was probably not a viable population. So . . . .any help as to what these are? Thanks

I don't think its a Hybopsis. I think it may be a juvenile sucker, perhaps Catostomus commersoni, check out the lips.

Yes that's a juvenile white (common) sucker. Catch tons of them around here.

beauty - thanks both of you. As soon as I got that lead I found a pic of a juvenile that matches exactly. That will certainly effect whether I keep 4 (!) of them in my 20L.

Just for insureance I'll third that and say thats a white sucker.
