Sweet...just filled out my survey. THe funny thing is I have several old aqua-clear filters and they are very good at what they do, and you cant beat the price!

I have an AquaClear 200 HOB filter that has been running in my basement, nearly totally neglected, for about 12 years. And it was well used before I sent it down there.

I've heard from another forum that it has been weeks and weeks and still nothing in the mail.

Here's the Quote. Someone from a fish forum named Richard Lopez emailed Hagen and this is the outcome:

Then he wrote to Damian Hall.

"Dear Richard,

Due to an unexpected volume of responses, we received over 7,000 responses in July/August, we are backed up and delayed in shipping out samples. We will be sending them out as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience in this matter and want you to know that you and the other thousands of respondents are not being ignored or forgotten.

Due to an unexpected volume of responses, we received over 7,000 responses in July/August, we are backed up and delayed in shipping out samples.


That amuses me, I wonder what they expected the volume of responses would be.

I have a girlfriend who is a sales rep for Hagen this is the response she got after asking customer service.. "We are getting numerous complaints as well here in Customer Service. Damian asked me to keep a running list of who contacts us, and complains about not getting the kit that was promised to them. He said he will get these kits out to the people on the list before other bulk shipments are sent out. I will give Damian the lists on a regular basis, so that he can get these people their kits ASAP. I’ll put your customer on the list. Please let anyone else over there aware that if they get any complaints to email me the customer’s name, address, and phone number. Thanks." This guys email is: dave.restaino@rchagen.com so start typing him! Supposedly we're making a big enough racket! Maybe we will see this stuff!

It sounds like they are trying to take care of everybody, with the squeaky wheels getting greased first. Just may take some time. I wonder what the "kits" are. Free informational brochures, maybe?
