My pike hides most of the time now. He comes out eagerly to feed though. I think my tank is too densely planted.
When bowfishing, I have seen northern pike so densely planted in the vegetation.....I mean in thick reeds and hornwort....I think this is just what pike do...

I have seen pike in dense vegetation too.

Yeah that tank looks awesome. That's the kind of tank I want for my pickerel eventually. Lots of plants of three or four varieties, although with some rock structures too.
