My Procambarus clarkii is in berry! Now I'll have young warmouth food for a month. How long does it take for the eggs to hatch? I just noticed the eggs today, but she's been acting "pregnant" for about two weeks, and I didn't want to disturb her for fear that she would drop the eggs and eat them. I bought her at petco about a month ago, so I know she had to have been fertilized before I brought her home. I bought her with a male that was in with her, and she ended up killing him along with a couple other poor-souled male crawdads I put in with her in hopes of breeding. She is actually kind of pretty, as she has a purplish hue with red on the "fingers" of the claws. I'm really excited about this, even though this has to be one of the most common, invasive species of crawdad, and I know alot of you are probably thinking this is like some one breeding american cockroaches, but I think it's cool, so I don't really care. :D
