For those interested. The Ohio Lake Management Society is having a one day conference entitled

Healthy Watersheds - Healthy Lakes - The Community Connection.

For more conference details go to www.olms.org

I am going (I am an out going board member) and will be placing NANFA membership info on the non-profits information table.

This is a very informative one day conference, and is well worth the time and money.

I do know the problems that the constructed lakes have caused on rivers and streams. But we have them now and many of them just will not be removed.
Hopefully the ones that we are able to remove, will get done. In Kent, Ohio a dam removal project was completed. They did a wonderful job. Well this is not the subject of this post.

Hope to see you at the conference.
