Well, I was sitting in Biology lecture today and the professor was talking about snails and she mentioned that water snails LOVE ALGAE, so, as many of you know I am having a horrible problem with algae, and I got to wondering if maybe these snails might help. I know that the snails have avery high reproductive rate, but I was just wondering if any of you have had any experience in using a snail for algae control and how to go about doing such a thing and if it was effective...Thank Again guys...and any ladies too

I don't recommend it. They not only like algae, but a lot of them like your plants too. Instead of cleaning all the algae off the glass they leave tracks all over the place. And you can't get rid of 'em.
