Ok I need to post a question about green spotted sunfish with tiny black spots all over.
Not all of them that I pull from the minnow trap each day I look at have these,
but most do, and it varies how many spots each fish has from fish to fish,
Located anyplace on each fish not in any patterned forms or anything, body, and fins and head.
What is this and if it is something,
and how would one treat for it if they are to be kept?
Thanks for the advice guys n gals

Could be pattern, melanism, or black spot disease. I have no idea how to treat black spot.

A few of my yellow bullheads had it. It did absolutely nothing to them. They still ate like pigs.

Could be natural coloration. I have seen greens with a natural sort or "peppering" to them, just small black flecks all over. Could also be black spot and you don't need to worry about that either.

Just wondering... what exactly is black spot? A parasite?
