Hi Folks,

I put this together for a couple native plant society meetings recently, and I moved them up to the web from Power Point. Hopefully this works okay. You'll need to use Internet Explorer, unfortuantely. I tried it with Firefox and it wouldn't do much.

Anyway, these are mostly photos through my travels this year (the bluenose were photographed April 2006, but that was the deviation).

It's pretty heavy on the blooms, and you may have seen many of the fish pictures, but I thought people might enjoy this. I mean, it's all about the adventure, not necessarily the destination, right? :)

Enjoy and have a Happy New Year!

Here, I put this PDF together to resolve that issue: http://www.farmertod...owers_and_Fins_ 2007.pdf (3.7 mb)

Sorry about that!

Laura,

Well, thank you! :) I figured you would really enjoy that. Do you have any ideas on the mystery Polygala and Ascelpias from Blackwater SP? (the 2nd and 3rd links that say Blackwater) Someone has my Britton and Brown right now, so I haven't had time to look. The regional guide I got is great (Falcon Press), but it doesn't cover everything.

Polygala nana and Asclepias amplexicaulis (and a very fine specimen at that).

Thanks Laura, I figured you would know :) Yeah, they had just burned that tract at Blackwater, and it was LOVIN the extra sun and nutrients that more weakly rooted plants had left behind. The gopherweed was just everywhere. It should look amazing this year. I have shots of all that, I'm working to get all that stuff online. This was just the highlights "film".

Erika took a ton of awesome shots of spider lily too... I was too busy chasing metalicus to be bothered with plants lol. Just didn't count for my picture presentation. Wait til you see her shots. I've learned a LOT from her.

Hey Schambers, glad you like them. Some of these were right in your backyard! :)
