The 10 gal tank has been established for about three years. I don't have an exact number but I've seen as many as 8 at once coming up for food. The stump, sand, gravel, and tons of ramshorn are also all local from my area. Nothing spectacular but I just wanted to share. All comments welcome.

The photos make your tank look larger than 10 gallons.

The pictures are just up close and the tank capacity is over packed. There's x number of darters and ghostshrimp,a few guppies, ramshorn, mts, and I think trapdoors. 1 pseed, 1 bluegill, 1 common shiner, banded killi, 1 brownbull head ~1,1/2". I saved a neighbors speckled little catfish it's no more than an inch, I'm really not to sure what it is besides tropical. Definitely not aggressive, doesn't even come out for food often. O yea and a tiny Achirus lineatus. I'm hoping to find him a salt or brackish home soon. They’re both hanging in even with the cooler water. The whole size thing reminds why to date women with small hands.. eheheh yea,,,

This is off topic but I just noticed you joined the forum on my b-day.

Do you have any pics of the catfish?

How many darters did you put in there to begin with? Did they multiply?

I found out it's a Micoglanis Poecilius. aka BumbleBee Catfish. Did you want to see pics of that cat or the brown bullhead? I have yellow's too in a different tank.

I believe i put in at least 8 darters. They might have breed but with all the other fish I doubt the fry would make it. I've see a few different type of egg clutches, but I'm not sure of the ID of them.

p.s. Happy B-day when it rolls around!!!

Happy New Year everyone!

I was asking about the unidentified catfish, but now that you know, it's not neccessary.
