Hello. My name is Bryce Gibson, I've been keeping and studying various fishes for about forty years. Having kept a wide variety of fishes, mostly SA rain forest and marine species, I have realized it's time to get back to my icthyophile roots. I grew up seining central Indiana creeks for darters, suckers, sunfish and a wide variety of minnows. Since Tennessee has an incredible array of darters, I'll be setting up a darter tank in the next few months, but in the last few years I have become very interested in native killies and pygmy sunfish, I spend a few weeks a year in the Florida panhandle sampling and fishing. Having picked up some back issues of American Currents at the Tennessee Aquarium, lurking around the forum and corresponding with a couple of members, Brooklamprey and FarmerTodd, I decided to come aboard. If anyone needs a hand with pulling a seine in the East Tennessee area please contact me.

Welcome Bryce, you are lucky to live in the area that you do. I go down to SW VA, right over the border of Kingsport, TN if you're interested in that area. Pretty much the same species you get downstream though.
