Received this announcement this morning-

Subject: [IPAW] Phragmites workshop
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, in collaboration with
UW-Sea Grant Institute and UW-Extension, is sponsoring a workshop on
February 20, 2008 to explore issues related to invasive Phragmites
australis management and control. The workshop will be held from 9
a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Phoenix Rooms of the University Union at UW -
Green Bay. For directions to the campus, visit
http://www.uwgb.edu/maps/ (The University Union is building 4). The
workshop, which is designed for agency and organization staff with an
interest in this topic, will begin with case study presentations.
These presentations will be the foundation for group discussions
regarding best available control technologies, messages for the
public, and opportunities for collaboration. The attached flyer
provides additional details.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Kendra Axness at 920-438-7581,
or kendra.axness@ces.uwex.edu so that we can be sure to have enough
handouts. There is no fee to attend, however please note that lunch
will be on your own (lunch is available to purchase in the UWGB
cafeteria).
