Serious here...
I've not seen anything "preggers" in my tank..but about 5 minutes ago, I noticed one of the mud minnows hunting "something" I had fed earlier, but with frozen, and I thought it was all gone..so of course I decided to watch.
Well...we'll never know WHAT it was, as it got eaten..but a fry of something came shooting out of the plants, in a sadly failed break for freedom!
NO clue...I have 3 female gambusia, but NO males, and they have grown 3 fold since I got them and were not(to my knowlege) pregnant. Those are the only real candidates...but again, no males?

Immaculate conception?

Gambusia can store sperm for many months. They can become gravid even without a male in the tank.
