I once found three dead black bears in the Mississippi River, it was a mother with two cubs. But then there was worst flooding year back so the bears were probably drowned in their own den then got carried by currents. It scared me lots and I don't go there that spot any more. When we went to tubing down the river, I feel a bump on my bottom thought it was just log but when I looked down and found out that the bump was just a dead deer. I was so quiet whole trip.....creepy! But no dogs or cats....expect I once found a body of little kid. Poor kid it turn out that he was actually play seek and hide with his babysitter, thought the boat make a nice hide spot but he fell and hit his head on the dock.

Wow. I don't know how I would react to finding a dead person, especially a child. I think that would give me nightmares.

I stopped atop a bridge one afternoon late when i saw a youngster flailing its arm caught up in riff raff in the bayou..... Peeled down to my Remington Insulated thermals and dove in.

Splash, splash ,splash........got to the log jam and pulled out a 3' life size doll with the current bobbing the free arm up and down........

........no dead dogs around here . The Coy-dogs (feral dogs and coyote hybrid) eat ALL THE ROAD KILL, rabbits, nutria, dogs, cats, calves....

"It is illegall to dump dead animals from bridge".

Have you ever noticed that anywhere they have a "No Dumping" sign, there are piles of trash and old appliances? It's like, "Hey, there's a no dumping sign - that must be a good place to dump stuff!"

Well, what else is there to say about dead dogs? I live in Mississippi. There are dead dogs in the creeks. I used to live in Georgia. There were dead dogs in the creeks.

Anywhere you see a sign that says "No Dead Dogs"...well, you guessed it.

The concept just isn't that novel. So we drift.

I had a puppy once. It got runned over. It bit the tire of a moving car and its tooth got caught in the tire. It got runnded over repeatedly. I was mortified to see this, so now I keep fish. Dogs aren't very smart anyway. I see dead fish in the creeks. I watched Sean lift the 20lb rotting corpse of a dead fish to see what was under it. Nothing <sigh>.

Dead fish aren't very interesting either.

In the south, your dog doesn't get run over. It gets Runned Over, or Runnded Over. Get it right
