Hi all,
Just a quick introduction! My name is Rich and I'm originally from the UK. I moved to the US (Broward County in Florida) last July.
I have spent most of my life studying fish (both native in the UK and tropical). I plan to study, photograph and keep some of the native fish here.
Anyway, just wanted to say "hello". Great forum you have here.
Rich.

I kept Perca fluviatilis, Tinca tinca, Carassius carassius, Gobio gobio, Scardinius erythrophthalmus, Gymnocephalus cernuus and Gasterostreus aculeatus among others. I have also kept many non-native (mostly tropical) fish.
BullHeadsrdfish -
I already have some Gambusia and I'm looking for various Sunfish species. I'm pretty much open to whatever I can get that's a reasonable size (nothing too big). I have two ponds in the garden and 3 tanks right now. In any case I aim to photograph any species I catch - whether I keep them or not.
Thanks all for the replies!
Rich.

Rich, I used to read Aquarist and Pondkeeper, and had some correspondence with John Dawes and his wife Vivian, who were both great people to work with. I am sorry to see that the magazine is no longer published.
Yes I remember Aquarist and Pondkeeper very well. John and Vivian are very well respected people. I don't know whether Practical Fishkeeping and TFH magazines were a factor in Aquarist and Pondkeeper not being published anymore. Either way, sad to see it go. I have good memories of reading that magazine years ago.
Rich.
