Prettiest green I've seen in a long time. Almost looks like a longear with all the markings on the face.

Almost all of the little greens look like that in my area. Some of them even keep that bright blue on the face when they're 6" or more.

This lake is chock full of green sunfish that size

Small greens are often more colorful than they are when they mature. This is a really colorful one, but nothing I have not seen before. If greens could keep their youthful color through adulthood, they might give many longears a run for their money in the color department.
