Where on the Clear Fork where you? I've been going down there for 20+ years and even over the last few when I've had a seine in the back of my truck I never got around to stopping and getting wet. Upstream or downstream of Pleasent Hill?

Good stuff. Field time is going to become a priority here soon, so I'm looking forward to getting out!

As soon as I come in I'm ready to get out. My brother and I went out and saw Sandusky Bay frozen so we just headed South in search of water. We stopped at the Clear Fork below Peasant Hill under the st. rt. 3 bridge a few miles SW of Loudenville, we parked in the Mohican State Park lot next to the bridge. We started upstream almost a 1/4 mi and caught only one hogsucker and two rock bass. Exhausted and a bit disgusted that this pristine looking stream had no fish, we headed back complaining about the ice covering the loads of fish in our good old muddy ditches closer toHPIM0264_264_198.JPG home. We reached the car at dusk and decided to give it one more try under the bridge. Of course we caught the rest of the fish I listed in two sein hauls. Seems like it always goes that way. A great day.

picture of the same spot in Nov during a flood, didn't get in on that occasion
