no question for me is felt. its amazing how it does NOT slip on smooth wet rocks... which is what my area is all about. slippery rocks.
it was a EUEKA when i first wore felts.
ive wore out 3 pair over the years. ots the boot that falls apart from kicking rocks and such. not the felt.

I have to buy a powerhead, too! If I get a small one & put it in a 5 gallon tank, will that work for quarantine? I ran out to Select Stone today and bought some nice rocks & gravel. I'll be working on my tanks this week.
You don't *need* to have a powerhead for now. That just helps in the long term.
I've got some live sand for you if you want it in a tank I'm taking down that'll help the cause. Makes nice stuff to keep wet in a collecting bucket or cooler, etc too.

Ooooooo, yeah I'd love some live sand. I got some beach sand today, but I'm not sure about using it in the natives tank. I'm going to put it in another aquarium & I'll see how I like it.
