was in a hole of green suns the other day and got a few of them, however when I got home I noticed one was different. here he is, sorry for the poor pic quality, its not a green, and its not a rock bass as I have a tank full of them and its mouth isnt as big as the rockbass. and its patterns especially around the face is different. He is very aggresive and keeps my rockbass and my greens at bay. he is a glutton too. He started eating fathead minnows the same day, he also has been eating prepared food since the first day, shrimp and pellet food. he is currently about 5" long but very fat.

ok cool, My smaller ones have a little more color to them than this one, but he is indeed cool, very aggresive though, he is now the new resident of what was the home of a green sunfish over 2 inces bigger than him. the green is still looking for a new place :)

It looks like a warmouth to me.
In the first pic you can see its three anal fin spines, also has some dark lines going from his eyes. Just going by what this page says http://nativefish.us...wtopic.php?t=49.

Nice looking fish by the way.
