Hi Folks:

Just discovered how to post, so here is a shot or three of my buddy "Spike The Pike" from initial capture to enjoying a nice tasty Fat Head Minnow. He shared a 55 gal tank with "Rocky" the Rock Bass.

After a few months he was just too aggressive, so he was given away to a new keeper to make way for a Bluegill population.

Glad to have stumbled onto this group.

Regards,
Radioguy

Thanks Gam:

He was a lot of fun to watch when he would "switch on" and strike prey.

I also had a small Carp in there with him which was close to 50% of his body length ... it lasted about 3 days, then I noticed that "Spike" had what I first thought was a tumor on his side ... turned out to be the carp bulging things outward.

Highly voracious fish. The "Rocky" Rock Bass wasn't much tamer in its eating habits either.
