Since stats nerds apparently love to give reviews on amazon and such and biologists don't does anyone own the book mentioned in the topic description.

Thanks!

Yup that's the one. Any thoughts on it Bruce? Is it worth plopping 20-25 bucks on?

It would be an excellent lab manual for some kind of ichthyology class, since it's very methods oriented. If you need a concise reference for the best ways to preserve specimens, set different kinds of nets, interpret scale growth or count gill rakers it's what you'd need. The one I have is copyright 1986, so it's not up to the minute, but many of these techniques haven't much changed in 100 years I guess. $20? Maybe... someone gave me mine for free so I'm lucky.
