how do you tell the diffrence?

Yellowfin shienrs and dixie chub look very different from each other. When exactly have you ever seen a dixie chub? They have a very limited distribution and are not found in SC. The dixie chub looks nearly identical to the creek chub and the yellowfin has a classical Notropis body shape.

I don't believe that was a dixie chub. They are found only in a small range in AL and the surrounding areas.

yes the fresh water coelacanth that is related to the irate alage eating cat
