I have a peice of driftwood, three pagoda stones, and an aponogeton that is close to blooming. I have a small hang on tank filter rated at 60 gph. I am dying to seek out some red bellied dace once the tank is established, and will have my 30 gallon ready in about a week for more fish.
Revamped my 5.5 gallon

Nice looking tank! I like the rock cave on the left side.
The "cave" is actually the peice of driftwood, it has a perfect arch to make a great hiding spot for fish. I've had this peice for many years and used it for my small lizards to bask on. With some hot water and a soft brush it cleaned up nicely and makes a perfect addition to my little tank!
I really need to pick up a small ball of java moss when I get some natives to put in my tank...gosh, I used to have tons of that stuff but got rid of it years ago when all my tropical fish died.

Are there any other ideas for Iowa natives that would do well in this tank? I know I have to catch them first, but an idea when I am culling the fish streamside would be great help untill I get my 30 gallon ready.
Suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Nate
