I've tried to ID this crayfish from various keys but haven't been successful. Can someone ID it from the photos on the page below:

Excellent shots. However, it is very important to include locality information with the specimen to aid in identification. Your crayfish is female, which will make ID harder, but hopefully one of our resident mudbug experts will still be able to figure it out.

Looks like a Cambarus species to me. If I had more time I would key it out for you.

The location is between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana.
