Is there already a post detailing techniques for taking fish photos? I'm hoping to take quality, close-up shots for ID purposes. I have constructed a couple of glass holding chambers for photos, but seem to have difficulty with fish reflections from the back glass.

What set up would you use if you had 100$ and a decent DSLR camera and lens at your disposal.

I haven't been able to find much advice on the web- If you know of a website that is helpful, please let me know.

Thanks!!

Have you seen this? http://forum.nanfa.o...?showtopic=3858

I think Uland posted about how he takes photos and what he uses. A few others as well. Maybe we need to pin some of these.

Thanks for the link, Drewish. I'd love to see more if there are any other threads. [note, I did search for them...]

You need a nonreflective surface behind the fish. Otherwise the shots were good.

If you join NANFA quickly, you should receive the latest American Currents where an article I wrote describes how I do it!

Yes, it is again time to re-prioritize and send in that renewal! Thanks for the heads-up.
