This is a 10 gal planted tank with some vals, hornwort, dwarf sag, java ferns, a sword and some ricca. The fish include my 2m/2f fundulus rubrifrons, 5 flagfish (3m/2f soon to be 1m/4f... stupid people at LFS), 1m/1f oto cat, one un ID'd pleco, 1m/1f serpae tetra and my weird goby.

Looks nice! If it were my tank, I'd paint the back black and get rid of that pleco.

The pleco never leaves the filter, so I don't have problems with him, he is a non-problematic fish. I do plan on painting the back and sides black, but do not know what type of paint to use?
btw, this is my pleco, had him for a few years and hasn't grown past 3"

It looks nice. That sword on the right will likely outgrow your tank soon though.

You can paint the tank with regular spraypaint; a lot of people use Krylon Fusion. Just tape up the hood before painting and leave it closed for a while so as not to get paint droplets or propellant in the water. Latex paint works as well.

Yeah, I know, i will be testing it on my DIY neolamp buescheri tank just to see how it goes, then if it is all well, all my tanks will get it ( 33gal L,2x20gal L, 2x10 gal, 5.5 gal, 2.5 gal)

Some pictures I have been seeing of them have a TON more color than mine, so I am curious?
