What kind of pygmy sunfish

I believe the okeefenokee are, the carolina pygmy sunfish is and maybe the zonatum.are native in SC? i caught one (at least i think it was one) the other day before releasing it, but I'm wondering what kind it was.

what you caught may depend where you are. most likely it was a banded (the widest spread species) if you were around Berkeley. The bluebarred is primarily in Jasper County (and near Walterboror), the Carolina is in Horry County and the Everglades scattered. There are no okefenokee in SC.are native in SC? i caught one (at least i think it was one) the other day before releasing it, but I'm wondering what kind it was.

well it looked alot like the banded pygmy, so i guess thats the one.
are they illegal to catch and keep?
