I'm taking a trip to good ol Tennessee here in the next week for some sampling around the Nashvegas area and was seeing if anyone else in the area would be interested in joining me.
I will be there June 1st, Sunday Monday and maybe Tuesday as well. Sorry for the short notice, but let me know! 8-)

I might be able to meet you on Sunday. I'm in Montgomery County, just over an hour away. What streams are you interested in?

I don't know if Lance (natureman187) is planning to post a trip thread about this trip, but we did indeed go out Sunday; we hit Yellow Creek (Cumberland Drainage), a trib of Big Richland Creek (Tennessee drainage) and Richland Bay (Kentucky Lake), and Crystal Spring Run and Bear Creek (Tennessee Drainage), all in Houston and Humphreys counties, TN. We drove around a bit in the afternoon trying to find some small streams in the lower Duck and Buffalo drainages, but were foiled by some apparent inaccuracies in the gazzetteer (yeah, that's the ticket; my navigational skills are blameless!).

We picked up lots of darters, shiners, dace, sculpins, a few juvenile centrarchids and pickerels, some unidentifiable larval fish in KY Lake, dusky salamanders, a spiny softshell, a midland watersnake, giant stonefly larvae, and lots of snails and crawdads. I believe Lance hit some other Middle Tennessee sites Monday and Tuesday; I was off doing herp work on the Milan Army Ammunition Plant, so I couldn't attend those trips.
