I need some ideas. On the IL/IN collecting trip I got a small hole in my waders on the left leg. I want ot patch the hole but not sure how to find it. The only way I can think of right no is fill the waders with water and then look for the leak. i am hoping there is a different way.

I'm not sure if this is the best way but I fill the bath tub up with water then I fill the waders with air, tie the waist off with rope or bungee cord. You might need a filler in the waist area if you have rubber waders to make a good seal. You can then dunk the suspected sections under water for your bubble check.

Actually this was the first year that I had waders. I wanted to extend my collecting season from Feburary to November and maybe year round. (Tired of waiting on Global Warming to give me warm waters year round.) Also as you get older some things start to shrink and cold water will cause things to shrink more. You all figure that one out.

Waders?! Are y'all afraid to get your little footsies wet?
Thsts what I say. Good old blue jeans and running shoes. I have several pair. And keep " fishing socks " . You know so all your socks do not eventually have that stream brown color. I used to live in Ontario and in the spring fish for brook trout. I would walk in the water all the time. Don't worry once your legs go numb they will come back to life eventually. Waders are for those rich people that have fancy fly rods and fishing boats. No offense to any rich people on this site. I have no money problems. No money, no problem.
