Hello everyone. It's been years since I've been involved with NANFA.
Got a 150 Gallon river tank.
Right now it has Green Darters, Rainbow Darters, Fantail Darters, Stonerollers,
shiners, trout-perch and a lil yellow perch.
A few years ago, it had 21 native Ohio fish species in it at one time.
It has also housed a few Brook Trout (don't ask) and even a lil steelhead smolt.
I cut back a bit now.

I look forward to talking/typing to other fishheads!

Welcome Creekcrawler! I am also in Ohio! Maybe we can hook up sometime, and do some stream sampling? Matt

Oh, and where did you come accross the trout perch, if you don't mind me asking?

Howdy Matt! I haven't been out sampling any streams in a while.
I may be cleaning up the tank first. I'm either adding some more pumps
to make it areal fast river tank with a chiller (can you say "trout"?), or taming it down a bit
for perch and things. Not sure yet.
I got the trout-perch from a bucket of bait minnows I bought in Sandusky last year!
Always check with bait dealers - I got the little yellow perch (@1 1/2" long) from
a bucket of emerald shiners I bought for perch fishin last month.

Dios Mio, a 150 gal river tank? I think I have found Mecca. What I want for my one tank allowed in the living room when we move just changed...
