I know I have been a stranger around here, unfortunatly I'm having some medical problems that have taken my attention elseware.
However...I have babies! Was putting some fish food in the plastic sweater box I am STILL using to house my dwarf crayfish, and noticed that all of a sudden..all kinds of the bits were moving on their own.
A close look showed me dozens of tiny crayfish no larger then a caroway seed!
The box is half full of java moss(dying, I just replace it as needed) and pretty much a swamp...so it's perfect for them! I can only find two adults(didnt want to disturb the java and flush out all the babies), but they were a male and a female, so even if the other two are gone, that explains that!
Anyway....just thought I'd check in and let you all know of the new arrivals:)

Baby dwarf crayfish!

Congratulations! I bet your other two are still in there. They hide really well.

I expect they are also. I just hope some of the little ones make it. I'll have to make sure I keep more fish food(that's what I've fed them to date) going in.
I put some frozen blood worms in, and the tiny little ones were pulling them around like train engines!
This is really pretty cool:D

I bet you'll get quite a few that make it. I have some dwarf crays that I got from smbass. I kept them in a tank with at least one predator and a not fry safe filter, and I still got some babies. I just moved them to a better tank, and I expect lots more now.
