I currently have 2 largemouth bass about 2.5 inches, would a pickerel be alright to add? can they tolerate the same water conditions?

If you have a big enough tank (at least 30 gal. as a guesstimate) and the fish are the same size, it could work. But of course they'll get bigger and more aggressive, bass especially, and then you have problems.

They can certainly tolerate the same water conditions; I often see them hanging out in the same backwaters. But I wouldn't do it. Those are two voracious big-mouthed fish, and sooner or later one will end up in the other's mouth.

I lost my first grass pickerel, a 4" juvenile, when it tried to eat a 2.5" green sunfish that I was keeping with it. He got it halfway down and then died.
