hey everyone! i just saw some pictures and clips on those beautiful rainbow shiners and i knew that i have to get me some! and what better place than here!
i am located in MN. in the suburbs of st paul. im not new to keeping fish - my collection consists mainly of rainbowfish(from AUS and surrounding area) and danios/rasboras. ive got around a dozen tanks setup at the moment. and like i said, i would love to add some rainbow shiners to my collection as well as those gorgeous bluenose shiners - anyone wanna help me out?

Welcome to the forum, all natives all the time. Bluenoses are often difficult to capture because of their preference for thickly planted, very muddy bottomed streams; rainbows are easy in comparison if someone happens to be in the right stretch of Alabama.
