:D This is my baby "dainty" I rescued out of the sewer river near my house..he was blind in his right eye, almost blind in his left and full of anchorworm with a messed up mouth. This is his pic when I first got him...

See what a little TLC can do. I love him.

:) He's 9 inches. He's beautiful. I have another bluegill "olive" that I got from a pet store that was mixed in with africans  and two pumpkinseeds. I will get their pics up later. I love dainty, he's very intelligent and extremely personable. If I had the room I would rescue them all...but I dont see that happening anytime soon. One thing is for sure tho...he will never see the inside of that filthy river again. Thanks for the compliments.

I will take any homeless pumpkinseeds off your hands, if you will. No offense, I've got no use for bluegills, they are a dime a dozen around here, but I love pumpkinseeds.

Pumpkinseeds are everywhere here, more common than bluegill. Bluegill take second place though.

Please take more Bluegill out of the filthy river......They are not Native to the drainage and don't need to be there anyhow.
Same with Green sunfish.
