I am interested in adding some Lowland Shiners to planted community tank that I have set up. The tank is 29 gallons. I currently houses a small spotted sucker and a juvenile creek chubsucker. There are also 2 Northern Starhead Topminnows and 6 Iowa Darters in there. I think Lowland Shiners are plant dwelling shiners and might do well in my aqaurium. Does anyone have experience with these fish/and or access to them?

We have kept these fish off and on for years. I really love the whole Pt. hypselopterus complex and their displaying dances. They are hardy fish that do like to have some vegetation. They keep some color most of the time and will eat anything offered.
