I wanted to put this up here so that more people would hopefully get involved. The Friends of the Fox river is a non-profit organisation geared toward the monitoring and health of the Fox river watershed. There are many ways you can help, donations, membership, public events, volunteering, etc. Since most of you are probably out collecting and catching fish, you could help by picking up a monitoring site and doing some simple things such as invert tallies, a few water chemical tests, turbity test, etc. The Fox river runs from wisconsin down through Illinois, so i suppose this only applies to people within range. Please check out the site for more details.
