First, A big thank you to yourself, Drewish and the other mods for setting this up.
and asking others to gather here as members.
I was trying to find some info on ohio law and regulations
in more then a few post i have read about seine permits in ohio being given for 10 of each
species of fish taken in a day.
The link is down on our ohio regulation thread or not working http://forum.nanfa.o...php?showforum=1
i just thought someone mite like to know the link is down is this not a Bug in the system or is it just another web anomaly

The path is probably old, broken, or ODNR is having website problems.

Tony if you have an Ohio Fishing booklet that you get with your license it's all spelled out pretty well in it. You can also download the entire booklet as a PDF from the ODNR website. I'm not sure of the seine permits you are talking about. You're allowed to use seines, size restrictions listed (4 x 8ft w/ 1/2" mesh in streams,) for baitfish collection. The quantity (I think up to 500?) and families of fish you can collect are listed.

You're going to have to talk to the regional biologist about collecting broodstock if you are planning on obtaining and using an aquaculture permit. You're leaving the realm of bait collection and possession, which is what the the first links you posted are mostly in reference too. Now that you've metioned the aquaculture permit, what you asked me in the PM makes much more sense. It looks like you've found the detailed lists for aquaculture permits but your questions will have to be answered by a state biologists. The original links you posted are also a state website issue, not a forum issue as far as I can tell.
