I've been here a short while but never introduced myself......so here goes.

I'm an avid fisherman that enjoys all species but have a real passion for muskies and pike.
I'm currently waiting for a decision on my permit application for a possible northern pike or tiger musky.
Washington State has plenty of laws against the keeping of any native species and I'm preparing myself to be denied.
If this is the case,I suppose I'll just have to dream about it. haha
At this time I have one largemouth bass, who is now around 6 inches in length. He mainly eats nightcrawlers...I have introduced a
few goldfish but I will only do that on occasions.

I plan on building a small pond in the backyard but probably won't be breaking any ground on it for a few years due to a curious 2 year old.
Not sure what I would want to put in there, maybe some gills or crappie.

I'm a firefighter/paramedic...so my schedule allows me to keep hunting for large tanks or anything fish related. At the moment,I have 3 spare
20 gallon tanks and have been trying to think of a good native species to put in there. I'm not sure if 20 gallons is big/too small for a single
bluegill. Any ideas?

I guess thats about it for now...I appreciate all the great information I have received and look forward to chatting with you folks later.
Thanks again
Kevin
